Lumineers in Kingston, PA | Frantz Dental
LUMINEERS® are an excellent option for people unhappy with the cosmetic appearance of their teeth.
These ultra-thin porcelain shells fit over the teeth, creating a bright, beautiful smile.
LUMINEERS® are a fantastic alternative for patients who want a confident smile without surgery,
harsh chemicals, or painful treatments.
For LUMINEERS® to be applied, the teeth, bone, and gums must be healthy. Patients with gum disease
or decay must be treated first. Unlike traditional veneers, LUMINEERS® can remain in place for
20+ years or be removed to reveal the natural teeth underneath. They can be fitted in just two
appointments and instantly transform your smile.

Are LUMINEERS® Strong Enough?
LUMINEERS® are made from Cerinate® porcelain, known for its exceptional strength.
Though thinner than veneers, they are less likely to chip or break. Cerinate®
porcelain can also be customized for opacity and translucency, creating natural,
balanced results.
How Are LUMINEERS® Applied?
One reason LUMINEERS® are easy to fit is that little etching is required. Unlike veneers,
teeth do not need to be permanently drilled or reshaped, which shortens chair time.
During the first visit, impressions and X-rays are taken, and the dentist ensures no
decay or gum disease is present. Together, you’ll choose the color and transparency
of your LUMINEERS®. Impressions are then sent to a lab for fabrication.
At the second visit, the LUMINEERS® are bonded to the teeth. Any excess bonding material
is carefully removed, and the surfaces are polished smooth, preventing bacteria and stains
from adhering. Once separated and polished, the treatment is complete—leaving you with a
bright, confident smile.
